Green your home with Propane
Propane is Clean
A home that uses natural gas for heating, water heating, clothes drying and cooking contributes 60 percent less carbon dioxide to the atmosphere than an all-electric home whose power is generated at a coal-fired plant. (DIYNetwork.com)
Using a propane tankless water heater can avert up to 1,470 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions, or about the same amount of carbon dioxide that a standard passenger car emits in seven weeks.
Propane is nontoxic and insoluble in water. Because it is released as a gas, it doesn't spill, pool, or leave a residue.
Propane exhaust creates 60 percent to 70 percent less smog-producing hydrocarbons than gasoline, according to studies by the Southwest Research Institute.
Compared to gasoline, propane yields 12 percent less carbon dioxide, about 20 percent less nitrous oxide, and as much as 60 percent less carbon monoxide. (World LP Gas Association, January 2003, and California Energy Commission, January 2003)
Propane cuts emissions of toxins and carcinogens like benzene and toluene by up to 96 percent, compared to gasoline, according to studies by the Southwest Research Institute.
Propane Appliances Can Help Save Water
Propane products like tankless water heaters heat water on demand, instead of storing it in a tank, saving the average American family 10-20 percent of its daily water use.
Propane is Efficient
Tankless water heaters can lower household energy bills by up to 40 percent.
The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that propane fireplaces cost 30 percent to 60 percent less per hour to operate than wood-burning fireplaces.
Propane fireplaces are excellent secondary sources of heat. Wood-burning fireplaces can lose as much as 90 percent of the heat they generate, where as propane fireplaces (and log sets) are up to 100 percent efficient.
Propane furnaces also have a long life – with operating lives of 15-20 years; 10 years longer than electric heat pumps.

Underground and Above ground tanks available in all sizes from 120 to 1000 gallon.
